European Zebrafish Resource Center (EZRC)

Welcome to the European Zebrafish Resource Center

Established in 2012, our zebrafish stock collection now contains approximately 30,000 mutations from the laboratory of Christiane Nüsslein-Volhard (Tübingen I, Tübingen 2000 and Tübingen EU screen) and from the Sanger Mutagenesis Project as well as transgenic and wildtype lines from diverse sources.

We offer over 2,000 plasmids containing zebrafish genes, in conjunction with the Helmholtz Repository of Bioparts (HeRBi).

High-throughput sequencing for positional mapping of mutations and transcriptomic analysis is provided through collaboration in conjunction with the Sequencing Core Facility of the BioInterfaces programme.

We offer genetic screening of Sanger mutations with user-provided assays, and chemical screening in user-specified lines. Screens can be performed by guest researchers themselves or as a service. High-throughput facilities (automated embryo sorting, imaging and image analysis) are available.
